The Great Helicopter Golf Ball Drop Returns Labor Day Weekend

The Great Helicopter Golf Ball Drop is back at Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House on Saturday, September 5, 2026.

Join us from 1PM-8:30PM for food, drinks, craft beer, live music, and the chance to win up to $10,000.

The official helicopter golf ball drop takes place at 4PM sharp.

Golf balls go on sale May 1. Each ball is $50, and only 500 numbered golf balls will be sold. Choose your lucky number early, because once they are gone, they are gone.

At 4PM, all 500 golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter onto a custom target hole on the golf course.

If your ball lands in the hole, you win $10,000.

If no ball lands in the hole, the closest ball to the pin wins the prize.

Guests are encouraged to come early and spend the day with us. Enjoy lunch, cold drinks, and one of our 20 rotating craft beers on tap before the big drop.

The afternoon will be hosted by Campbell Dawson, MC, DJ, and Party Catalyst, keeping the energy high all day.

After the drop, the party continues with live music from Skinny Moo from 4:30PM-8:30PM. One of Cleveland’s hottest live bands and a Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House favorite, Skinny Moo brings big energy to Labor Day Weekend.
